Currently i have a coaxial speakers in my car . I want to upgrade to component speakers as i am seeing in the internet they gives the best sound out put as it has internal cross over network. My current Head unit is Pioneer mp3 player has 4*50 watts channel and I don't have a AMP . To upgrade to a component speakers Is AMP absolutely necessary ? Is this 50watts is not enough to drive component speakers. My requirement is a clean and bright sound not very louder sound. My existing coaxial speakers is ok..but not bright and clean. Thanks All! I dont want to spend much money on AMP. I found BOSS/SSL brands cheaper. Are these good AMPS ?. Their spec says like this 1000/2000 watts. How to find the actuals RMS per channel ? My Pioneer spec says like this Audio Maximum power output ....... 50 W × 4 Continuous power output ... 22 W × 4 (50 Hz to 15 000 Hz, 5% THD, 4 W load, both channels driven) Does it mean it has 50w RMS or 22W RMS per channel ?...
